Dr. Carl Knopf Guest Speaker At Ebell Club The Christian spirit of the day and not the outward evidence, pagan in origin, will inspire the continued observance of the Christmas holiday, according to Dr. Carl Knopf, University of Southern California professor, in discussing the meaning of Christmas as guest speaker at the Monday afternoon meeting of the Ebell club at the K. P. hall. A merging with the Christ spirit of the idea of gift giving, tree, and other holiday customs will provide a real meaning for Christmas. Other program attractions included selections by the Mozart string ensemble of the high school and carols by Mrs. Walter Ross who was accompanied by the group. I have one spread 43 years old which you wash every two months anyway, and it is all whole.
