SOCIETY CLUBS New Officer Installed W. R. C. Installation of Mrs. Emma Yale assistant conductor featured the timing of the A. B. Paul Woman's Relief Corps No. 134 last day at the I. O. O. F. hall. Estelle-Gray, past president and guest at the timing, was installing officer. The committee reports on child afare and relief were present. Mrs. Lulu Hall of the Santa Woman's Relief Corps was a guest at the meeting. The social club will meet at the park next Tuesday with the regular meeting to be held t. 1, it was announced following the meeting refreshments were served by Mrs. Idahges and Mrs. Pearl Fergus. Stella Jackson To Marry T. Hume West Announcement has been made by T. W. Jackson, 217 E. Broadway, of the engagement of his daughter, Miss Stella M. Jackson, to T. Hume West, son of Mr. and Mrs. L. A. West of Santa Ana. The marriage will take place in October. Old Friends Renew Acquaintance Meeting for the first time in 31 years L. J. McKee and Mrs. C. H. Dollen yesterday renewed a friendship started many years ago at Austin, Minn. Mrs. Dollen now lives at 1127 Glendon Court, South Pasadena. Club Women to Convene At Fontana Miss Florence Backs, former president of the Anaheim Junior Ebell club, will be in charge of the program at the fall conclave of the Southern District Junior clubwomen at Fontana Oct. 17, it has been announced. Fontana and Bloomington clubs will be co-hostesses at the session. Adoption of the district by-laws will feature the business at the conclave, it was said. VISIT IN ANAHEIM Mrs. Posey Stone Ellis of Bellville, Tex., her son-in-law and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. George H. Doane of Los Angeles, visited friends in Anaheim Wednesday. L. Murman Miss Marion Utter, daughter of Dr. John William Utter, 1001 W. Center street, and Arvid L. Murman, son of Mr. and Mrs. Eugene Murman of Glendale, were married at 4 o'clock Saturday afternoon in the Saint Cecilia chapel of the Mission Inn at Riverside. The ceremony came as a surprise to the many friends of the couple. Rev. D. Howard Dow, rector of the St. Michael's Episcopal church of Anaheim, read the service. Only members of the immediate families were present. The young couple left shortly after the ceremony for a wedding trip in the north which will last two weeks. They will return to Anaheim for a short time before going to Bakersfield where they Baby Christened By Uncle at Dinner Party Christening of little Shirley Louise Pannier, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Milton Pannier, 545 S. Lemon street, featured a dinner party given last Monday evening in honor of Mrs. Pannier's birthday anniversary. Rev. U. S. Schauer, uncle of the baby, officiated in the service. Guests at the dinner were Mr. and Mrs. Charles Korn and Mrs. Sarah Pannier, grandparents of the child; Rev and Mrs. Schauer, Miss Ruth Korn and the host and hostess. will make their home. The new Mrs. Murman has been a teacher at Anaheim high school for the past few years. She graduated from the high school here, completing her education at Fullerton junior college and the University of Southern California. She is a member of Zeta Tau Alpha sorority.
