New Store Front Wins High Praise
The following letter was received recently by Earle Jackson, who recently completed remodeling work on the front of his store: Jackson Drug Company,
237 Center Street,
Anaheim, California.
Dear Mr. Jackson:
May we congratulate you upon the magnificent front which now adorns the Jackson Drug Company. Not only will it adorn, but it will attract business as well as attention. We are more than pleased to show this beautiful store upon the front cover of the forthcoming issue of West Coast Druggist.
We regret exceedingly that space limitations prevented our reproducing the photograph of the building as it was before the new front was put in, and we are therefore returning that picture to you.
The first time that I get a chance to come to Anaheim I am certainly going to drop in and take a look at this beautiful store.
With every good wish, we are Yours very truly,
WEST COAST DRUGGIST,
J. H. C. Pinkerman,
Publisher.
BLOWING BUBBLES
The radicals condemn capital and profit system. What would the economic industries amount to without capital? It would be a blessing to mankind if capital and labor would co-operate.
Where is the Moses to lead a way out of the wilderness of turmoil and dissention. Strikes won't do it. Sane heads of both sides should get together and sensibly arbitrate the differences.

phytes guarding the Santa Clara wheatfields, killing one of them. The natives were pursued and their leader killed. The head of Chief Yoxcolos was placed on a pole and this act seems to have discouraged attacks for some time.
"In December of the same year," says James, "Prado Mesa made an expedition against gentle thieves in the region of the Stanislaus River. He was surprised by the foe, three of his men killed, and he and six others wounded, besides losing a number of his weapons. This Indian success caused a great alarm, and a regular patrol was organized to operate between San Jose and San Juan Missions for the protection of the ranchos. This uprising of the Indians was almost inevitable. Deprived of their maintenance at the missions, they were practically thrown on their own resources, and in many cases this left them a prey to the evil leadership of desperate men of their own class."
