LEGAL NOTICE
NOTICE INVITING SEALED PROPOSALS FOR ELECTRIC TRANSFORMERS
Notice is hereby given that proposed proposals will be received by the City Council of the City of Anaheim, at the office of the City Park of said City, up to the hour eight o'clock P.M. of Tuesday, 14th day of July, 1936, for financing electric transformers, distribution and constant current, under purchase agreement to run approximately one year, the total amount of said contract for this commodity to be between $1000.00 and $5000.00.
Distribution transformers shall in sizes from 1½ KVA to 200 KVA; Constant Current transformers shall be in sizes from KVA to 25 KVA.
Each proposal must be accompanied by a certified or cashier's check, payable to the City of Anaheim, in an amount not less than per cent of such bid; and the successful bidder will be required furnish, within ten days after award of the contract, a surety and payable to said City and subject to the approval of the City Council, in an amount not less than fifty per cent of the aggregate amount of said contract, which said bond shall be conditioned upon the faithful performance of said contract.
Specifications and further information may be obtained at the office of the City Clerk.
The City Council of said City serves the right to reject any or all bids.

Bee Stings Result In Minor Accident
Loosing control of the railroad motor car he was driving when attacked by a swarm of bees, L. E. Brooks, 206 Walnut street, drove the car into the side of an automobile operated by Mrs. Nellie Fern Lindley, Rte. 2, box 368, Anaheim, according to police records. The accident happened about 3 o'clock yesterday afternoon at Adams street and the Southern Pacific crossing.

Brooks was jarred and bruised, but not believed seriously injured. Mrs. Lindley also escaped injury.
