Special Program At Calvary Baptist Meet
A very special program marked the meeting of the Woman's union of the Calvary Baptist church Thursday at the home of Mrs. R. J. Dugdale on South Los Angeles street.

Mrs. Lindsey, who is president of the Santa Ana Baptist Association, led the devotional service, using as her text the parable of the five loaves and two fishes. Mrs. Staley, secretary and director of the association, told of the work being accomplished by the Woman's unions. Mrs. Beardsley heard the reports from the various committees. Mrs. Minnie Lockman directed the white cross work.
After the business meeting in the afternoon and during a short social time Mrs. Lindsley entertained the members with stories of her father's experiences while a missionary in Ramapatnam. During the time he spent there he built a seminary, Mrs. Lindsey had donned the costume of the native women of India for her rather picturesque descriptions.
Recess was taken at noon for the serving of a covered dish luncheon by the ladies of the committee.
