Car Registration Jan. 1 to Feb. 4 Registration of automobiles for 1936 is to take place from January 1 to February 4, inclusive. Motorists must apply for registration prior to January 30, if they wish to avoid the 100% penalty, reports the National Automobile Club. Bobby Frazee, 13, and a couple if his classmates built the house and it substantial with weather-proof siding, roofed with paper and floored, has a back window and wide front-doors. The boys drew lots to see who got the finished product and Bobby won. He didn't know just what to do with it as he has no dog. Forms Available For Potato Men Announcement is made to all growers of Irish potatoes in Orange County by the Farm Advisor's office that application forms are now available for growers allotments pertaining to next season's crop. The Secretary of Agriculture Wallace has been charged with the potato control program, at the request and demand, of the potato producers of the United States. The local Farm Advisors office in turn has been delegated by the Secretary to notify growers in this area that the control plan, based on growers' hearings throughout the nation, is now under way and application forms for 1936 production allotment are now ready for growers' signatures. These forms are available at the Farm Advisor's office, 211 Court House Annex, Santa Ana. They require information on the amount of production and acreage of previous potato crops grown by the applicant each year since 1932. At a meeting of Orange County potato growers to be held on Monday, November 25, a county committee of three growers will be elected to handle the local control program in the county. Potato acreage in Orange County last year was 260 acres, according to the census compiled by the Agricultural Commissioner's office. A total of 53,807 lugs was produced. The California potato acreage totaled 45,000 acres this year as compared with 33,800 in 1929.
