FIRST CHURCH OF CHRIST SCIENTIST
Christian Science)
125 North Philadelphia
The appeal of the Psalmist,
"Create in me a clean heart, O God; and renew a right spirit within me," constitutes the Golden Text in the Lesson-Sermon on "Everlasting Punishment" on Sunday in all Christian Science churches, branches of The Mother Church, The First Church of Christ, Scientist, in Boston, Mass.
A Bible selection in the Lesson-Sermon includes these words of James: "Let no man say when he is tempted, I am tempted of God: for God cannot be tempted with evil, neither tempteth he any man; but every man is tempted, when he is drawn away of his own just, and enticed... Wherefore lay apart all filthiness and superfluity of naughtiness, and receive with meekness the engrafted word, which is able to save your souls. But be ye doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving your own selves."
One of the correlative passages from "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures," by Mary Baker Eddy, states: "Sorrow for wrongdoing is but one step towards reform and the very easiest step. The next and great step required by wisdom is the test of our sincerity—namely, reformation."

WAKE UP YOUR LIVER BILE—WITHOUT CALOMELAND
And you'll jump out of bed in the Morning Rarin' to Go
If you feel sour and sunk and the world looks punk, don't swallow a lot of salts, mineral water, oil, laxative candy or chewing gum and expect them to make you suddenly sweet and buoyant and full of sunshine.
For they can't do it. They only move the bowels and a mere movement doesn't get at the cause. The reason for your down-and-out feeling is your liver. It should pour out two pounds of liquid bile into your bowels daily.
If this bile is not flowing freely, your food doesn't digest. It just decays in the bowels. Gas bloats up your stomach. You have a thick, bad taste and your breath is foul, skin often breaks out in blemishes. Your health and you feel down and out. Your whole system is poisoned.
It takes those good, old CARTER'S LITTLE LIVER PILLS to get these two pounds of bile flowing freely and make you feel "up and up." They contain wonderful harmless goat leavable extracts, amazing when it comes to making the bile flow freely.
But don't ask for liver pills. Ask for Carter's Little Liver Pills. Look for the name Carter's Little Liver Pills on the red label. Resent a substitute. 25c at drug stores.
Getting Up Nights
If you suffer from Getting Up Nightiness, Leg Palms, Swollen Joints, Dizziness, Headaches, Loss of Pop, Burning, Smarting, Itching Acidity trouble try the Doctor's guaranteed prescription Cystax (Sisla). Must bring new vitality in 45 hours and satiety completely in days or money back. Guarantee Cystax costs only $6 a dose at druggists.

It was mystifying and the confusion. In a few days the old time printer again called and hearing of the mix up he explained everything, and everybody, including the conductor, breathed easier.
Commute Books Cut to One-Half
On account of the growing popularity of the 10-ride and 30-ride Commutation books, and to meet further needs of other patrons of the Motor Transit Lines, another form of Commutation Book has been added—a 60-ride Individual Book which saves the purchaser an average of one-half off the regular one-way fare, according to R. B. Harrington, local agent for the Bus Line.
“This saving is indeed a great help to the patron who rides daily and also to those who ride frequently, as the new 60-ride Commutation Book is good for 60 days which averages 15 round-trips per month,” remarked Agent Harrington.
“Of course, if both he and his family are frequent patrons, we suggest that they use the 30-ride Family Commutation Book which is good for 90 days from date of purchase and any member of his family may also use the book. Then there is 10-ride Commutation Book which is good for thirty days also effecting a saving to him,” continued the agent.
As an example of the great savings now available from this city to various points on the Bus Lines: The one-way fare from Anaheim to Los Angeles is 65¢ the average one-way rate with the 10-ride Book is 49¢ the average one-way rate with the 30-ride Book is 39¢ and the average one-way rate with the 60-ride Book is reduced to 31½¢. Thus it is ill seen that a worth whiting may be affected through purchase of one of these there being a form of tie meet every individual or requirement.
