Fullerton Merriam Club Meets Friday
The Young Men's Merriam-for-Governor Club of Fullerton will start its activities in the November campaign at a dinner meeting Friday evening at 6:30 at El Patio cafe. John Leslie Goddard, one of the leading young attorneys of Los Angeles and a member of the Constitutional Rights committee of the Los Angeles Bar association, will be the speaker.
In a statement announcing the meeting, A. B. Barton, president of the club, said: "The issues in the present campaign transcend party lines. Our organization is composed of republicans and democrats pledged to work untringly for the election of Gov. Frank F. Merriam to defeat the threat to communicate the state.
"The name of our organization is not intended to imply that the membership is confined to men young in years. We welcome to our organization men of all ages who have young and progressive ideas."

The public is fast returning to the use of liquid laxatives. People have learned that the right dose of a properly prepared liquid laxative will bring a more natural movement without any discomfort at the time, or after.
The dose of a liquid laxative can be varied to suit the needs of the individual. The action can thus be regulated: A child is easily given the right dose. And mild liquid laxatives do not irritate the kidneys.
Doctors are generally agreed that senna is a natural laxative. It does not drain the system like the cathartics that leave you so thirsty. Dr. Caldwell's Syrup Pepsin is a liquid laxative which relies on senna for its laxative action. It gently helps the average person's constipated bowels until nature restores their regularity.
You can always get Dr. Caldwell's Syrup Pepsin at any drug store, ready for use.

Suds-a-rator
SUDS + AIR + ACTION
The VOSS Floating Suds-a-Rator washes in the clean, active suds at the surface where you wash by hand. There is no harsh, violent action to tear your clothes. The dirt drops quickly to the bottom—out of the way — instead of grinding through fabrics again and again.
