Christian Science Lesson-Sermon
The words of the Psalmist, "The steps of a good man are ordered by the Lord; and he delighteth in his way," consti-tute the Golden Text in the Lesson-Sermon on "Man" Sunday in all branches of The Mother Church, The First Church of Christ, Scientist, in Boston, Mass.
One of the Scripture selections includes the following verses from Matthew: "And Jesus went about all Galilee, teaching in their synagogues, and preaching the gospel of the kingdom, and healing all manner of sickness and all manner of disease among the people. And his fame went throughout all Syria: and they brought unto him all sick people that were taken with divers diseases and torments, and thbse which were possessed with devils, and those which were lunatick, and those that had the palsy; and he healed them."
A correlative passage from "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures," by Mary Baker Eddy, states: "Jesus beheld in Science the perfect man, who appeared to him where sinning mortal man appears to mortals. In this perfect man the Saviour saw God's own likeness, and this correct view of man healed the sick."

Early Spring Wedding Has Beautiful Setting
The wedding of Miss Madaline Spillman and Harry Meter, with the beautiful Calvary Baptist church at Placeenta as its setting, was one of the most notable nuptial ceremonies of the early Spring. The ceremony was last Saturday evening, with Rev. Charles Fuller officiating, and with 100 invited guests as witnesses.
The ceremony was beneath an altar with an archway of Spring flowers and greenery. Don Milligan played wedding music on the organ; while the solos were Miss Helen Caldwell of Fullerton and Orvill Burns of Placentia.
The gown of the bride was a white satin sleeveless and of full length, the skirt being banded by wide lace. A vell of embroidered silk and orange blossoms was her head adornment. She carried a shower bouquet of white sweet peas tied with pale pink ribbons.
Miss Anna Meier, in pink georgette fashioned in formal lines and carrying white and pink sweetpeas with a ribbon bow in those colors, was bridesmaid. Charles Hill was best man.
The flower girl was little Lavada Grace Appman, who wore a dainty pink dress and carried a white basket of rose petals. Bobby Barnaby carried the ring on a pink and white satin pillow.
Following the service there was a reception at the home of the bride's mother for the bridal party.
The newly-weds are spending a week in the north and upon their return will make their home on the ranch which Mr. Meler manages for his father cast of Anaheim. The bride's traveling dress was of black and white sport crepe.
The bride is the daughter of Mrs. L. G. Spillman and Mr. Meier is a son of Mr. and Mrs. Fritz Meier.
