New Styles Are Lovely Miss Millerick was gone a little over two weeks. The weather, she stated, was almost as mild in New York as in Anaheim, but immediately after her departure Jack Frost played his usual winter trick and froze in the eastern inhabitants. “The styles this year are perfectly lovely.” Miss Millerick observed. “They impress one with waist lines that are changed from the winter mode, with a beakcenting back to the style that many of us cannot remember but which picture and story have combined to delightfully portray the feminine dress in one of its most pleasant modes.” Local happenings Louis Danz, Anaheim musician, was Tuesday noon the guest and principal speaker at the Huntington Beach Women’s club, where he spoke on “Art”. Mr. Danz appeared Monday evening at the Klwanis club meeting at Laguna Beach, speaking on “Business Men Abroad.” KUFTURE EXPERT HERE C. F. Redllek, Minneapolis, Minn., will demonstrate without charge his unequalled method in SANTA ANA TUES. & WED., FEB. 24 & 25 at the ROSSMORE HOTEL from 10 A.M. to 4 P.M. Mr. C. F. Redlch says: The "Perfect Retention Shields" hold the rupture perfectly, no matter what position the body assumes or how heavy a weight you lift. They give instant relief and contract the opening in a remarkably short time. The secret of their success is in their simplicity. An expertly adjusted device seals the opening without discomfort or detention from work. It is practically everlasting, sanitary, comfortable and actually holds ruptures which heretofore were considered uncontrollable. Stomach troubles, backache and constipation, nearly always a consequence of rupture, promptly disappear. Bring your children. According to statistics 95% recover by our method.
