Arthur, Sr. "Speedway," which brings William Haines to us again in his original type of wise-cracking comedy role, is a story of love, adventure, and action centered around the famous Indianapolis speedway. It is showing Saturday and Sunday, October 26 and 27. The picture was actually filmed at and during the Indianapolis auto races and in the supporting cast are such favorites as Anita Page, Ernest Torrence, Karl Dane, John Miljan and Polly Moran. "Bulldog Drummond" which is to be the feature attraction at the Fox theatre next Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday, Oct. 25, 29 and 30, brings Ronald Colman in a much different type of role than formerly associated with this handsome romantic hero. It tells the story of a young man, eager for adventure, who accepts a mysterious invitation to meet an unknown person in a certain wayside inn. Adventure, thrills and romance follow. The "Eleven O'Clock Hallowe'en Frolic," which is to be presented after the second show at 11 o'clock Halloween night, October 31, will feature an entirely different program headlined by a pre-release preview—one of the hits of tomorrow just completed by film-dom's leading studio. In addition, a Mickey Mouse "sound" cartoon, the Los Angeles Biltmore Trio in an all singing comedy act, an all talking comedy feature, "Hardboiled Hampton" and a Fox Movietown News Reel will be offered. The "Eleven O'Clock Hallowe'en Frolic" is presented in connection with Anaheim's annual community Hallowe'en street parade and mardi gras, offers a great opportunity to complete the celebration.
