All my stock is standard makes, and has been sold very close when it comes to profit. Other interests has forced me to close out, and do it quickly. I have turned this stock over to F. N. Almstead, well known Adjustor, with strict orders to sell the entire stock and get me out of here by October 28, regardless of cost, loss or consequences. This task, I realize, is one that requires drastic measures, which I have instructed Mr. Almstead to use. Hope you will all profit by this terrific sacrifice. Thanking you all for your generous patronage during my short time in business here. I just finished a big shoe sale in Pasadena when we were forced to lock the doors from time to time during business hours, and we did this for days in order to wait upon the big throngs of people. There must be a reason for this. Prices is the only thing that will accomplish it. I trust the people of Anaheim will do as well by me as they did when we closed out the Handleman Shoe Store here two years ago. I pledge you better shoe values than ever before. This sale will be without a precedent in the memory of the oldest citizen. F. N. ALMSTEAD F. N.
