At the regular meeting of the Chapter O. E. S. last Monday evening, Miss Evelyn Finney gave a splendid rendition of "The Man Without a Country," written by Edward Everett Hale. Miss Finney is a graduate of the Anaheim high school, and at the close of her selection, was loudly encored and graciously responded with a humorous selection that called forth more applause. Mrs. A. J. Strayer, of El Paso, Texas, a member of South Gate Chapter, Los Angeles, was present at the meeting and made some pleasing remarks. There was a goodly attendance of the home members, light refreshments were served, and all present enjoyed the meeting.
