Henry, engineer at the sugar factory, fell while hanging steam pipes one day last week a distance of six feet and sustained a fracture of a rib on the right side. They were in Elmers Brothers' store on Monday and while one of them was being waited upon, the other stole two hats. The men were placed under arrest by Marshal Kellenberger north of town the same day. Judge Howard read them a fatherly lecture on the evil of their ways and sent them across the river for a half year. Fred T. Rimpau arrived from Fairbanks, Arizona, Tuesday evening for a week's visit with relatives and friends. He returns to Fairbanks on Saturday and will remain there during the summer. It is Fred's first visit here in six years and he finds many improvements and evidences progress in the city. His wife and little daughter are in Los Angeles, where they will remain during the summer.
