WALLACE SELLS GROCERY
W. A. Wallace Tuesday sold his grocery store to Peter Stoffel, who yesterday assumed control of the establishment. Mr. Wallace retires from lucrative business on account of ill health, and will remove to a higher altitude in the endeavor to restore his aforetime vigor. He has been in business here during three years. Achieving instantaneous success from the start, his business grew until it is now one of the best in town. Mr. Stoffel is a former groceryman of Wichita, Kansas, and has resided here two years. He is a man of means and will continue the grocery up to the high standard that has characterized it in the past. His stock will be carefully selected, and the special welfare of his customers will be the consistent aim of himself and employees. He will be assisted in the store by his son, Bernard Stoffel, John Hunt, Harold Cordes and a competent force of clerks.
Mr. Wallace's retirement will be noted with regret, and his friends and well-wishers will indulge the hope that he may soon be restored to his usual good health.
