It was deemed more fitting that as Mrs. Wallop was a past worthy matron of this chapter, and as she had officiated as installing officer last year, that this expression of the sincere affection held by all her associates should be adopted at this time: Whereas, It has pleased the Almighty Father of the Universe to remove from our midst our late sister, Eliza H. Wallop; and Whereas, We feel that in the death of our sister our order has lost one of its most loyal and devoted members; therefore be it resolved First, that while we bow with humble submission to the will of the Most High, we do not the less mourn for our sister who has been called from her labor to rest; Second, that in the death of Eliza H. Wallop this chapter loses a sister who was always active and zealous in her work as worthy matron and as a member of our order; that her readiness to aid at all times by counsel and advice serves to strengthen the bonds of fraternal love and affection; the memory of her kindly face, her generous acts and her unselfish motives quickens anew the sorrow occasioned by her deplorable loss; the remembrance of her pure life and noble deeds will ever be cherished by Chispa Chapter of the Order of the Eastern Star, "For though from out the bourne of time and place The flood may bear me far, I hope to see my pilot face to face When I have crossed the bar. Third, that this Chapter tender its heartfelt sympathy to the fam." sorrow occasioned by her deplorable loss; the remembrance of her pure life and noble deeds will ever be cherished by Chispa Chapter of the Order of the Eastern Star. "For though from out the bourne of time and place The flood may bear me far, I hope to see my pilot face to face When I have crossed the bar. Third, that this Chapter tender its heartfelt sympathy to the family and relatives of our departed sister in this their sad affliction, and may God console them as he alone can. Fourth, that these resolutions be entered upon the minutes of this Chapter, and that a copy of them be sent to the family of our deceased sister.
