Remember the Date, Saturday, June
Death of Jacob Everhardy
Jacob Everhardy breathed his last at his residence on West street Wednesday night of last week, after an illness of long standing. He was for twenty years a well-known resident of this city, and was well known throughout Southern California and Arizona, where he was formerly engaged in the stock business.
For a year or more past he had been in ill health. He suffered a stroke of apoplexy, from which it was impossible for him entirely to recover.
On the occasion of the passing battleships at Newport Beach some weeks ago, he went to the coast to witness the pageant. His health seemed somewhat improved, although he made the trip on crutches, having to be assisted on and off the train. He seemed especially pleased at sight of the vessels, and was apparently better than for years. He ate freely of luncheon on the beach, and this was followed by an attack of ptomaine poisoning from which he with difficulty recovered. He was strong physically and gave heroic battle to the reaper.
Two weeks ago he failed in his strength and it was apparent the end was near. His children were summoned from widely separated cities and with his wife and faithful daughter, who remained with him steadfastly to the end, were at the bedside when final summons came.
"Uncle Jake," as he was familiarly called by all was a native of Thrier, Prussia, and was in his 74th year. He came to the United States with his parents when a child. The family located in Cincinnati, and subsequently moved to Leavenworth, Kansas, where deceased engaged in the butcher business.
In 1888 he came to Anaheim with his family and has since been a resident of this city. He leaves a wife and five grown children.

WICKERSHEIM IMPLEMENT COMPANY
FULLERTON, CAL.
FRA LUCIUS
is the "Pen Name" and professional title of this eminent scientist who inherited some very remarkable gifts from a Scottish father, whose name and family are prominent in the "Rob Roy Clan" of Scotch Highlanders, and who was a long time Surgeon and "Resident" Commissioner of the British Crown in India; and an Aryan mother of the high (Brahman) caste of India.
His Brahman name signifies in English, "Son of the Master of the Magi, favored by Fate." His forbears, on both sides, for many generations have been Scientists, Philosophers and "Seers." In early childhood he manifested marvelous occult and psychic powers. When he was less than seven years of age, the afterwards eminent Anglo-French scientist, Brown-Sequard, discovered that these wonderful manifestations were the result of a great natural gift, instead of cataleptic disease (as it was called by eminent physicians of England and the continent) and doubtlessly saved his life by stopping the drug medication and developing the physical to support the inherited super psychic forces and powers. As Lucius grew to manhood, he studied nature, as well as books, and graduated with the highest honors from leading medical colleges and scientific schools in this and foreign countries. He has served as Surgeon,
ing Hand" of the Ancient Oriental Order of "The Mididjil," which he earned by nine years of study, meditation and work, in the service of the great Master Adepts of the "Temples of Knowledge" in India.
By special invitation he will lecture at I.O.O.F. Hall, Anaheim, Sunday night, June 14, at 8 o'clock in regard to "Human Life and Death," "Health and Happiness."
Admission free for ladies and gentlemen. No collection. Physicians and scientists especially invited.
He appears in the golden woven silken robes of a High Caste Brahman Master Adept Pundit, and illustrates each lecture topic with bright colored paintings, which he makes off hand, while you listen; and gives occult demonstrations, and psychic life and character readings and descriptions after the lecture.
During the day he can be consulted at the Pacific House from 2 to 6 p.m., for a short time only.
He tells you at a glance, your Mental, Physical and Psychic conditions, capacities and powers; what diseases you have or are liable to have, and how you can cure and prevent them, and gives you knowledge that you can gain from no other source. Do not fail to attend the lecture and to consult this wonderfully gifted man, and get the benefit of the most marvelous discoveries of all time.
