In brief it is as follows: With the reference to the offices occupied by the county officials we beg to report that we find them well provided with necessary equipment and business well conducted with the exception of the following offices. Secretary Krick of the Anaheim Union Water company makes report of monthly water sales which shows the growth of the company's affairs during the past three years. In June, 1905, water sales touched the highest point in the twenty-three years' history of the company, the total amount for the month being $3664. In May of the following year, water sales advanced to $3944; in May of this year they aggregated $4423, and in June, 1907, high water mark was reached with total monthly sales amounting to $5489. As a result of the preliminary debate at the high school held on Monday last Miss Helen Kuhnle and Raymond Nebelung were selected as a team to debate against Los Angeles Polytechnic high school.
