Anniversary Wedding The fiftieth anniversary of the marriage of Mr. and Mrs. M. L. Litten was celebrated at their home on Olive street on Tuesday. The family and a number of invited friends sat down to an elegant dinner at noon. Among those present were Mr. and Mrs. M. H. Litten and family, A. A. Litten and family, Jes Litten, W. E. Brown and wife, Mr. and Mrs. Webb, I. E. Litten and family of Fallbrook. The happy couple received many useful presents, and $15 in gold. Those who waited upon the table were Mrs. M. H. Litten, Mrs. I. E. Litten and Mrs. W. E. Brown. Mr. and Mrs. Litten were married in Washington, Ind., and have lived in Anaheim three years. They are held in high esteem by all who know them. Church Notes A new individual communion service was used for the first time at the M. E. church last Sunday morning, a large number of persons participating. The M. E. Sunday school children are beginning work on their Christmas entertainment, which will be given at the church on Christmas eve. Miss Sanborn of the Deaconess Home in Los Angeles, will represent the work of that institution at the Methodist church next Sunday. Those who have heard her in the past will no doubt be glad of another opportunity of meeting her. Subjects for discourse at Christian church next Lord's day: Morning—"Christ Before Pilate." Evening—"What Then Shall I Do With Christ." All will be made welcome. E. L. Olmstead has purchased the five-acre home place of E. Michod, extending from Center to Broadway, and heard her in the past will no doubt be glad of another opportunity of meeting her.
