REPUBLICANS AT FULLERTON HAVE GREAT MEETING
Largest Political Gathering in History of Town Greets Candidates—Fireworks.
Fullerton republicans broke the record on Tuesday evening with the largest political meeting ever held in the history of that bustling burg. Fireworks blazed in the streets, and from miles around automobiles and carriages brought additions to the gathering, until Bank hall was crowded to the doors long before time for opening the meeting.
The candidates and accompanying friends arrived at 8:20 from the dinner tendered them at Mr. Chapman’s elegant home on the Santa Isabel ranch. They were at once greeted by friends who pressed about them, assuring them Fullerton republicans never scratch and will stand resolutely by the ticket.
C. C. Chapman presided and opened the meeting in a happy address which was heartily applauded.
