Breaking The Egg Trust Eastern hens, all the way from Kansas to New Jersey, took advantage of the egg trust during the past ten days of spring weather, and, breaking all industrious hen records knocked the egg trust galley-west. Gilt-edged eggs have been selling at 4 cents apiece retail, an abnormal price. Receipts of fresh eggs yesterday and today as compiled by the New York Mercantile Exchange, were 25,587 cases, most of which contain 30 dozen each, some running 36 dozen. This is approximately 10,000,000 eggs coming to market in two days. Wholesale prices declined from 35 cents, early in the morning, to 18 cents per dozen. Lemberger, of Syracuse, N.Y., had not done the best he could for his suffering son. "My boy," he says, "cut a fearful gash over his eye, so I applied Bucklen's Arnica salve which quickly healed it and saved his eye." Good for burns and ulcers too. Only 25c at Hutchinson's drug store. The street cars of Los Angeles have killed 30 and seriously injured 225 persons since January, 1904. Startling Mortality Statistics show startling mortality from appendicitis and peritonitis. To prevent and cure these awful diseases there is just one reliable remedy, Dr. King's New Life Pills. M. Flannery of 14 Custom House Place, Chicago, says: "They have no equal for constipation and billiousness. 25c at Hutchson's, druggist." Prof. Henry Miers says there is no knowledge of the depths to which the South African diamond mines may be worked. The deeper they go the richer they are. RAILWAY TIME TABLE.
