I don't shoo that in absence the President I haven't bin too fast after all. Men don't all luz show their hands at the beginning of the game, and it is just barely possible that in sudden fault with his Eggsleycy for withhold my commission. I have been in error. If he demonstrates to me that it is so I will forgive him—on respect my appointment. My changeuv habit is the resultuv a closet skanninuv the appointments that he has made so far. This I have done, and I find sufficient reezop for a modern sized changeuv cart. I never dislikered that changes in the smaller post offices are being made with common labile rapidity. The gentleman cook be worked with more speed, but then we must give the department for two reasons. First—They are new at the businessuv make appointment, and. Second—Laziness ez every Demokratic voter in the United States, without regard to color or preceding condition of impersonation party or habitual, expected applause, it is very difficult for the body of departments to act without spitting into fragrence. I kind appreciate their condition and the embarrassment they are in. For instance at one corner there is eggskellyz 200 Demokratic voters, and every one we see, except Blagum, demands a offer. Passion on Demokratics for the life is a practicable man would not take for empty honors. Last night at 10 o'clock at Windsor, near here, Miss Georgia Auridge narrowly escaped hanging at the hands of unknown parties. She was alone in her house at the time and stepped out of doors, when she was seized, her hands and feet weighted down with bricks, and she was then hung to die. She was accidentally discovered a few minutes afterwards by her brother, who came in at the back way by chance. Life was almost extinct. She can give no account of the affair, being too much overcome by the shock. A note was found saying that it was done to get even with her father, Dr. Aldridge. Miss Georgia is a highly respected young lady, aged 24. In this experiment prevails at Windsor over the affair. Healthful Dress for Women The great trouble with our feminine mode of dress is that the warmth is unevenly distributed over the surface of the body. The waist, hips and lower back are much overheated by the lapping of the upper and lower garments, while the head, throat and extremities are usually only half protected. To this cause alone can be traced a great part of the all health of American women. Women often break down from over-work but working at a disadvantage in cosmetics and heavy skirts has a great deal to do with it. We cannot do so much nor do it as well as we could if public sentiment permitted women a hygienic mode of dress. Skirts reaching to the feet are an undoubted hindrance to free and easy motion; but as the petticoat is begun and has come out for a long time at least, we must study ways and means for making it as little harmful as possible. Everybody knows that men owe much of their good health and success to their natural and suitable style of dress. Now what women want is to secure the benefits of men's general mode of dress in their undergarments, using over these ordinary dresses, in its most sensible form, as the barge of womanly modesty. To specify—the first garment put on should be some kind of a knot union suit with long sleeves, which is elastic and covers nearly the whole body. Unless this is very heavy and warm, it should be mounted by another flannel union suit of cotton at least in the northern climate. Then should follow a light flannel shirt, made in princess style without any heavy trimmings. In glareate climates, there is nothing hotter for this purpose than Jersey cotton; and for cool climates ever down channel. Both wash well and have a knitted web, which enables them to be fitted perfectly and yet give everyone one of the body full play. If the dress of more than two pieces was so sweet, strong tapes to the seams of the waist post above the waist line, make buttonholes in the neck and place them close to the hem. An inquiry was held today in the case of the death of a Mr. Bartlett, a merchant of Punish where it is alleged he was killed by ill-formed aliens on his land with unlawful to marry the Rev. Mr. Dyson, a Weean immigrant. A statement by Mrs. Bartlett was read at a public hearing and when she was married to Bartlett they made a contract to have together merely as a trust friend. This agreement was adhered to six years when the husband began to encourage her alliances for the Rev. Mr. Dyson. Recently Bartlett has been removed an extriment for life but can feel it to be her duty to the authorities our husband aides are impaled on him to blight and bodily affliction. The appeal had only a temporary settlement so she has been to present herself from her husband by waving her hand from front of his face. On the night of this deap, another husband was retiring and produced a bottle of colder wine, whose husband took from her. Upon awakening in the night, she found her husband lying dead by her side. The affair has continued an intense sensation, and is regarded as likely to culminate in one of the most prominent cases in the criminal history of this country. Queer Effect of a Rattlesnake Bite. Jasper Ga., Feb 7. The conviction of Mr. Sylvester Sams, a well-known citizen of this county, examines considerable interest. Two years ago Mr. Sams, while walking over his farm, was bitten by a rattlesnake. He immediately recalled to the native remedy in such cases, whiskey, of which he partook occasionally. Nothing more was thought of the matter until summonses were given to Sams before its imposition at St. Virginal Church. He is never still, not even in his sleep, twentying his muscles and moving excessively later he has developed student schizophrenia so much that he ceases his wife and family, and whoever wears window glass. Interest: Two years ago Mr. Sams was walking over his farm, was bitten by a rattlesnake. He immediately resorted to the nature remedy in such cases, whisky, if which he partook copiously. Nothing more was thought of the matter until six months ago when Sams betrayed symptoms of St. Virus disease. He is never still, not even in his sleep, twisting his muscles and moving unnecessarily. Later he has developed student sympathy so much that he beats his wife and family, and whoever comes within reach. He now acts like a man with a well-behaved case of rabies, only instead of barking he makes a rattling sound. He has been taken to Cotton jail, where a strong guard can be kept over him until the result it has come to be reached. Another story of facing an amputation limb comes to Birmingham, N.Y. Four weeks ago Dr. Tennant appointed Mrs. William Goodhill as legal post below the knee. The leg was buried, and the patient was getting well all right, except that she instantly complained that a wound on her departed foot patched her excessively. After three weeks of that kind of suffering, her husband lying up the buried member, and found that a bandage remained bound tightly around the toe, on one of which was the corn. He removed the bandage, burned the member in an easy and comfortable position, and since then Mrs. Goodhill had no trouble with that sort or corn. A new boy evangelist has appeared in St. Louis. His name is Louis Myronheimer, and his age is twenty-two. His putt manners are described as unique, not to say ludicrous. "One moment he is calmly reading a passage of Scripture and the next will be upon a seatout in the body off the church exhorting the people to turn from their evil ways and he savet ere it is too late." "What are your terms?" asked a reporter of the evangelist. "I have no terms," was the answer. "I require no salary. The preacher and the Lord attend to that. I go by the sixth chapter of Matthew."
