Twelve of these are at the point of death. Dr. G. B. Johnson has just rived this city from an extended visitfected region. He says some have since shown signs of madness bitten hogs and mules;as well as mals of their own species.,while mules belonging to Mr. Doughtie ed with the disease,and a few their owner had a very narrow ear a desperate race from being bitten by one of the infuriated beasts.mals have been killed,but some dogs have escaped,and the wholehood is trembling with fear for their consequence of their escape,now even the doctors,knowing howthe spread of hydrophobia.
