The receipts of late have been heavy, and the demand active, chiefly for shipment to New York, and also for intervening cities, by rail. POTATOES. Owing to lessened supplies prices have been advanced materially. We now quote Petaluma, Tomales and Bodega; $1 45: Cuffey's Cove and Humboldt; $1 50@1 60 @ 100 lbs. Sweets are plentiful at $1@1 12$. ONIONS. Are firm at 85c to $1 @ 100 lbs. WOOL. The stock on hand is now placed at 20,000 bales. We note sales of 120 bales clean Northern at 20c; 48 bales medium do, 16@16c; 15 bales burry at 15c; 21 bales do at 15c; 390,000 lbs in lots at 14@20; 200,000 lbs mostly burry at 13@14c, and heavy free at 15@10c. HOPS. The stock remaining is quite light, and the price nominal at 30@32c. BEANS. There is but very little demand at present. We quote Bayos, 2@21c; Pink 1@2c; Red, 1@1e; new White Pea, 3@3lc. Sales of White Butter at 3@4c. 200 bags White Pea sold at 3lc. HAY. The supply is liberal. Small cargo sales are daily made within the range of $9@15 p ton, according to quality. HONEY. Receipts have fallen off materially during the past weeks. Stocks are much reduced and prices are firm at an advance. We quote white Comb in frames at 18@22c; dark do, 10@12c; Strained, 5@10c lb.
