Anaheim Gazette SATURDAY...OCTOBER 24, 1874 [From the Commercial Herald.] San Francisco Market. FLOUR. Our receipts from the interior for the past three months amount to about the same as last season, while our exports are 18,600 bbls less. The market continues quite sluggish. Oregon is still sending us of her surplus. The millers in this city are for the most part running on Extra brands, although there is some export demand for Superfine for China. The withdrawal of the opposition line of Hong-Kong steamers and the rise in freights will check this branch of trade more or less. The present price of Golden Gate and Golden Age Extra rules from $1,874@5,124; other brands Extra $4,024@5: Superfine standard brands, $4,204@25 p. 196ffs, and outside brands $3,904@4. WHEAT. Our receipts for the first quarter of the harvest year do not equal those of a like period in 1873. The market is dull and sluggish owing to the very meagre supplies sent forward, even in the face of early rains that are imminent, and which at best will catch many thousands of tons of grain exposed to the elements, now stacked and corded up far inland and of difficult approach by rail or water. The milling demand is equal to the supply of choice grain, thus keeping the price steady. Exporters buy much that is of ordinary quality, while the largest part of the entire receipts are of second or third quality, selling below $1.40 per cental, and the very best only $1.50. BARLEY. Our exports for the duarter, 56,518 etls, or about half that for like periods in 1872 and 1873. Since Oct. 1st, the R.C. Wylie has cleared for Iquique, with 12,750 etls and the ship Edith for New York is loading some 600 tons, the latter paying freight at about 75¢ per etl, say $14@15 pton. The Bay receipts are light, but the coast supplies are liberal and of better quality than ever before. Chevalier of good bright quality is very scarce, and is wanted at $1,900@1.85 but dark coast is quite HOTELS PLANTERS' HOTEL, Cor. Los Angeles and Centre Sts. Anaheim, Cal. Frank E.
