Morrales, President of Bolivia, was killed by his nephew on the 6th of January. An attempt was made at Decatur III to poison a family by putting arsenic in their well. The Newspaper Union of Chicago has put on a new dress. The population of California is 569,000, showing a gain of 47,44 per cent since 1861.
