Mr. and Mrs. Otis Cooper and family, Miss Lois, Masters Wilbur and Charles spent Christmas in Los Angeles with Mr. and Mrs. George Whitney.
Mr. and Mrs. J. R. Gallemore received a cabiegran Saturday wishing them a Merry Christmas and Happy New Year from their daughters who are now in Dumaguette, Phillipine Islands. Miss Marynel who is a graduate of the schools here, is a teacher in the high school at Dumaguette and her sister, Grace, is a student in the same school. The message was sent from Dumaguette to Manilla by wireless and from Manilla to this country by rable.
Mr. and Mrs. C. C. Cyler of 203 North Lawrence avenue, have deferred their Christmas dinner until Wednesday, when they will have, with them Mr. and Mrs. W. E. Whittier of Ocean
Anaheim and their son-in-law and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. H. Brewster children of Ontario completed the family circle.
Mr. and Mrs. W. P. Vance enjoyed a Christmas dinner at their home on West Amerige avenue with Mr. "Bud" Smith as the guest of honor. Miss Helen Link of New York was with them on Monday, she is a niece of Mrs. W. P. Vance. Miss Link is an accomplished musician and dancer, she is at present with the Orpheum Circuit and is in California for the first time.

Mr. and Mrs. F. E. Moll and their son-in-law, J. W. Brown and children of 402 South Highland avenue were guests at a Christmas dinner Sunday at the home of Mr. and Msr. Henry Timm in Los Angeles.
A family reunion and dinner was held at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Chris Schneider, at La Habra, Christmas day which is an annual affair in the Schenider home when all the family gather. Mr. and Mrs. J. E. Scale were present, Mrs. Seale being formerly Miss Rosa Schneider.
Mrs. J. M. Markham and son B. H. Markham of West Amerige avenue spent Christmas around the heartstone of Mrs. Markham's son-in-law and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. E. R. Thompson and family of San Bernardino, Mr. and Mrs. J. E. Ellis and children of Fullerton were guests.
A family reunion and dinner was celebrated at the home of Mr. and Mrs. William McGimpsey, 104 East Commonwealth avenue Monday when Mr. and Mrs. C. S. Gage and descendants to the number of nearly a score spent a joyous day together. Mr. and Mrs. Gage were born in Pennsylvania several years before California was a part of the United States. They are seventy seven years respectively, have seven children, twenty-two grandchildren and one great grandchild, Edward Hamml who was the youngest to sit at Monday's feast. Those present were Mr. and Mrs. C. S. Gage, Walter Gage, Mr. and Mrs. E. D. Gage and children, Mrs. Iva Woodward and children, Mrs Merle Woodward and children, Mrs Merle Hamlin and son, Mrs L. E. Handcock and children of San Jacinto, Mr. and Mrs. E. S. Gregory and children, Mr. and Mrs. W. E. Tate and children and the host and hostess, Mr. and Mrs. William McGimpsey.
A delightful Christmas dinner was held at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Otto des Granges on Cypress avenue Sunday. They had their son and daughter and family with them, which made present with the Orpheum Circuit and is in California for the first time.

Mr. and Mrs.F.C.Sutherland and children of 213 East Maple avenue spent Christmas at Van Nuys with Mr.Sutherland's brother, W.H.Sutherland and family.
Mr. and Mrs.D.A.Connell of 119 South Malden avenue served a turkey dinner Sunday in celebration of yule-tide, and had with them their four daughters and families, including Mr. and Mrs.G.C.Braniger of McFarland, Mr. and Mrs.A.L.Tietze of Huntington Beach, and Mr.和Ms.W.P.henry of Huntington Beach.
Mr.和Ms.J.C.Roseman of 143 East Commonwealth avenue observed Christmas, as usual, with a family reunion and dinner." They had with them their son-in-law and daughter, Mr.和Ms.Charles Curtis and children of Los Angelee.
An old lady attended a lecture on physiology At the close of his address the lecturer invited questions from his audience.
The old lady rose.
"I should be very much obliged," she said, "if the lecturer would tell me whether the part of the brain that he called the 'cerebellum' is inside the head or outside."

GIVE CHRISTMAS DINNER
Mr. and Mrs. C. C. Lamb entertained with a Christmas dinner Monday at their home on Zeyn street. The guests were: Mr. and Mrs. W. M. Merrill and Mr. and Mrs. E. A. Wadsworth. These friends are all former Colorado residents and an enjoyable day was had talking of Colorado times.
JEROME SHAFFER TO GIVE PROGRAM TONIGHT
A program of music, art and foolishness will be given tonight at the White Temple under the auspices of the Epworth League by Jerome Shaffer, Mr. Shaffer comes to Anaheim with exceedingly good recommendations. He is very well known in the north for his work and Anaheim has secured his services while he is visiting with relatives at the Laguna art center.
A free will offering will be taken and the proceeds will go toward missionary work of the league.
ALUMNI BANQUET IS POSTPONED FROM THURSDAY
The banquet and social evening of the Anaheim Alumni Association has been postponed from December 29 on account of weather and flood conditions. A refund of money will be mailed to those who have paid for the affair. Unless a future date is set there will not be another meeting until the close of the school year.
CHRISTMAS AT MATHIS HOME SUNDAY
Christmas at the Mathis home on East Broadway was celebrated Sunday. Mr. and Mrs. Warren Mathis and family, Mr. and Mrs. Perry Mathis and family, Mr. and Mrs. Earl Mathis, Mr. and Mrs. J. Mathis and Mr. and Christmas gifts enjoyed in the afternoon. Those present were Mr. and Mrs. W. H. Kennedy, Mr. and Mrs. Ray U. Fisher and family and R. B. Fisher of Hollywood.
CHRISTMAS FESTIVAL AT O'ROURKE HOME
The home of Mrs. Emma O'Rourke was the scene of a jolly Christmas reunion Sunday and Monday. Christmas tree was the decoration used in the home. Gifts were received from it late Sunday night. The remainder of the holiday was enjoyed with conversation about the hearth and Christmas tree. The guests were Mr. and Mrs. Lee Eicholtz, Mr. and Mrs. C. S. Wilson of San Bernardino, Mr. and Mrs. D. Goddard, Mrs. Emma O'Rourke and family.
CHRISTMAS ENJOYED SUNDAY IN ANAHEIM
Mr. and Mrs. Fred Mitchell of South Los Angeles street were hosts to a number of friends and when they served a Christmas dinner. After the dinner games, music and cards were enjoyed. The guests were Mr. and Mrs. Rudolph Gerkin, Mr. and Mrs. L. Lund and family, Mr. and Mrs. J. Magathan, Mr. and Mrs. Burton of Los Angeles, Mr. and Mrs. Orville Burton and family and Mr. and Mrs. Nellson of Whittier.

EPISCOPAL CHRISTMAS TREE TO BE THURSDAY
The Christmas tree at the St. Michaels Episcopal church for the Sunday school has been postponed until Thursday night at 7 p.m. The same program will be given at this time.

The home of Dr. and Mrs. W. H. Johnston of East Broadway was the scene of a jolly Christmas festival Monday when relatives gathered to enjoy a good time together. A Christmas tree loaded with gifts was the main feature of the Yuletide. A delicious dinner was served. The guests included Mr. and Mrs. W. M. Wickett, Dr. and Mrs. Wickett of Fulerton, Mrs Campbell and Miss Campbell of Santa Ana, Mr. and Mrs. W. A. Ross and family, Mr. and Mrs. W. J. Ross and family and Mr. and Mrs. George Ross and mother.

A Christmas Eve party was enjoyed at the home of Mr. and Mrs. M. F. Shettler Saturday night. Christmas tree was held in the early evening with a midnight feast afterwards. The guests were Mr. and Mrs. M. J. Herzler, Miss Anita Herzler, Mr. and Mrs. M. F Shettler and daughters, Walter Fink of Los Angeles and Carl Osborn of San Diego.

CHRISTMAS PARTY AT JOHNSTON-WICKETT CLINIC
A Christmas party was enjoyed at the Johnston-Wickett Clinic, Saturday afternoon, by the doctors and employees. The gymnasium was arranged for the occasion with Christmas decorations. Dr. Galvin, assisted by W. E. Bartlett, played Santa Claus. He presented the Clinic with a beautiful mahogany desk for the waiting room and the employees with their Christmas check from the clinic. Other gifts were exchanged and games and music were enjoyed and candies were served.

The Roberts home at Long Beach was a scene of a week end Christmas party. Mr. and Mrs. Walter Cochran, Mr. and Mrs. Francis Findlay and family of this city and Miss Reland Johnson and Edward Wolley of Hollywood were guests of Mr. and Mrs. H. G. Roberts.
