Lemon Street, Anaheim FREE RENTAL SERVICE ANNOUNCED TODAY BY REALTORS Sidnam Realty Company has come out with a decided innovation in handling rentals as announced in today's issue of The Herald. Realizing that the advancement of Anaheim depends on a great extent on its facilities for housing the many desirable citizens who are desirous of locating their homes and businesses in this community, this firm is establishing a free rental service to take care of such newcomers and to place them in touch with homes available for rent. Such business of house and apartment rentals will be handled absolutely gratis, it is said, while heretofore these rentals have been handled solely as a commercial proposition. "We feel," says Mr. Sidnam, "that it is a real duty of everyone in business here to promote the growth of the community. Broadly speaking, such efforts are returned in increased business and prosperity for all. This rental service will be anything but a profit-making department, but we will carry the overhead cheerfully knowing that it will benefit the community of which, we ourselves, are a part." LYON COMPANY WILL GIVE ALL CHANCE TO OWN HOME "We are going to give everyone who wants a home of their own the best chance they ever had of acquiring one," said J. T. Lyon, Anaheim Real Estate man today. "We have a plan of easy payments on lots in Elk Park Extension which we think will appeal to everyone seeking a beautiful home site. When all the improvements are completed there will be no district, among all the unusually attractive districts in Ana- VALENCIA SQUARE ONE OF MOST BEAUTIFUL SECTIONS IN CITY Valencia Square is destined to be one of the most beautiful sections of Greater Anaheim. The location possesses an irresistible charm to the one who has dreamed of building a cozy bungalow in a setting that will be perfectly fascinating when surrounded with shrubbery, flowers and palms. More than this, the thirty years' restrictions on the property assures the most desirable neighbors—the kind that take a deep interest in the beautification of their home and grounds. All the modern conveniences are there—sidewalks, curbs, graded streets, sewers, gas, water, electricity—everything contributing to comfort, convenience and happiness. These lots are solid gold values—they will constantly increase and this increase will be marvelous in the next five years. The eyes of the whole world are turned with longing to Southern California—the heart of the home-seeker yearns for a place in the land of eternal sunshine—the promised land! Nowhere in this God-blessed country can you find a more healthful, more delightful, more prosperous place to live—a place where you will find cleaner, better, kind-hearted neighbors than you will in Anaheim—the heart of the famous Valencia Orange Empire! -His gift at Kustiner's—Adv. EYGABROAD AND FISHER SELL GROVES ON BALL ROAD Eygabroad and Fisher are featuring Valencia orange groves in small tracts ranging from one and a quarter to five acres. This is the Hineman property located with hat to match. The ring ceremony was used and the witnesses were Enid Baer and Fennh Skinner, both of Los Angeles. Immediately following the ceremony Mr. and Mrs. Canawan left on a motor trip to San Diego where they will spend the honeymoon. They will make their future home on the groom's ranch at Ontario. Mrs. W. H. Cooke of West Orange-thorpe avenue was hostess Wednesday afternoon at the last meeting of the year of the O. E. C. One of the principal actions of the members was the choosing of Mrs. H. Johnson as TO OWN HOME "We are going to give everyone who wants a home of their own the best chance they ever had of acquiring one," said J. T. Lyon, Anaheim Real Estate man today. "We have a plan of easy payments on lots in Elk Park Extension which we think will appeal to everyone seeking a beautiful home site. When all the improvements are completed there will be no district, among all the unusually attractive districts in Anaheim, which will surpass Elk Park Extension in any of the essential features that go to make up a highly modernized and beautiful place of residence," Mr. Lyon concluded. Berger Company Sells Land to William Lusk The C. B. Berger Company has sold 13 1/2 acres at Villa Park for the Jotham Bixby Company of Long Beach, to William Lusk of Orange. The property is improved with Valencia oranges and is a part of what is known as Cerro Villa Heights, the two hundred and fifty acre citrus subdivision for which the Berger Company is agent. Mr. Lusk is one of the pioneer citrus growers of Orange, having owned and lived on the highly productive grove on East Collins street for many years. A son at Uplands is planning on making the newly acquired grove his home. EYGABROAD AND FISHER SELL GROVES ON BALL ROAD Eygabroad and Fisher are featuring Valencia orange groves in small tracts ranging from one and a quarter to five acres. This is the Hineman property located on the Brookhurst and Ball roads. Every tract has been granded, leveled and set to Valencias, now from one to two years old. There is an abundance of water and each buyer will receive a share in the large pumping plant, proportionate to the number of acres purchased. The small tracts cost no more than a city lot and offer splendid opportunity to persons desirous of owning an attractive country place. There is much interest being displayed in this property and it will probably be disposed of very rapidly. —His gift at Kustiner's—Adv. —Ben Baxter, contractor, 266W. —Adv. EXTRA PROFITS FOR THE RANCHER Gained From Study of Modern Tillage Methods of Community Field Gatherings California ranchers, with difficult problems, accomplish wonders and add profits by studying the conditions of their own districts in a practical manner. Following the state fair at Sacramento, a number of the leading ranching communities, realizing that they have individual problems which they must solve for themselves, have formed community field gatherings where the best tillage methods for that particular locality have been studied and decided upon. To assist them at these field gatherings, they have invited some of the leading tractor and implement dealers of Los Angeles, firms who maintain service departments and firms whose tractors and implements have been specially constructed to meet California conditions. Such a meeting will be held at Fullerton on the W. M. Knepp ranch, on Spadra road and Orangethorpe drive, by the ranchers of that vicinity Saturday, December 17, and if it is successful as similar meetings have been in the northern part of the state during the past sixty days, every rancher and orchardist in the community will be benefitted. A group of Los Angeles dealers, consisting of the Holt Manufacturing Company, Dixon & Griswold Company, and the Killefer Manufacturing Company will assist at the field meet and lend what assistance they can to the ranchers of this section. In the interest of the fruit growers... COSTS NO MORE THAN A CITY LOT The smaller of these tracts cost no more than a city lot and offer opportunity for those who desire a small country property.
