NEWS FROM OIL FIELDS RICHFIELD The Ridge Oil Company is drilling out the cement today and tomorrow will make a water test for the 3385 hole. The 6 inch was set at the above mark and it is now necessary to go ahead with 4 inch and finish the well. Production is hoped for now at 4500 feet. Satisfied that going deeper would not change the outlook for Vejar No. 1 drilled to 5155, preparations are now being made to abandon the well as an oil prospect and make a water well for the property out of the well. Some cleaning out work is being done on Loftus-O'Bryan No. 1 is being done. There is some hope of this becoming a commercial producer. On the original Kraemer lease 1-5 is producing about 20 barrels and does not show any inclination to increase this output. K 2-6 recently completed at 4250 is doing close to 600 barrels. Kraemer 217 now drilling at 3700 feet is beginning to look good. The next producer, Kraemer 2-16, is close to 4200 feet and has all the earmarks of another big one. Galloglo No. 2 is being deepened from 3675 on. Loftus-O'Bryan No. 1 at 5095 is being cleaned out for a final production test. The Selby-Root-Hogue Oil Company started the construction work on an absorption plant, and will take care of the gas now coming from three producing wells. The completion of No. 3 is still held up, iron in the hole at 2880 is slow drilling. No. 7 shows 2400 feet drilling in ticky shale.
