Since woman's heart has always delighted in pretty attractive lingerie, she has discarded those old stiff ideas and now wears soft silks and linens, georgettes and Italian silks.

Pajamas for millady started out quite simply, following the lines of those for gentlemen, but now they have deviated to the soft sharm of silks and added dainty tucks, laces and frills until, behold, sets of crepe de chine of delicate pinks, orchids, yellow cut and sewed to please the wearer. The coat and trousers, alike, are trimmed to fascinate.
Could any woman resist a raspberry confection of filet and georgette, combining a fillet strapped chemise with step-in bloomers? Or would she rather be intrigued by a white Italian silk set of blooms and vest, stripped with blue, or just the dainty pastel pink? The bodice of the chemise would have a yoke or band of hand work.
The stayed ideas of our grandmothers are giving way to the real comfort and charm of soft materials with every thought given to their attractiveness.

REAL COUNT TO TAKE PART IN PLAY, SAYS PRETTY DIRECTOR
Quick, girls! Primp up your hair, apply a touch of rouge and a dash of powder, adding a sweet smile and a graceful pose, for Anaheim is to be visited by a real count, his royal highness Count Trenville, who will arrive in this city next week. He is a descendant of the royal blood of France and is making his first visit in this country. He is well known throughout the social circles abroad and is a great sportsman. A pair of eyes and a dimple or two are his great downfall. Why is he paying Anaheim a visit? is the question being asked by hundreds. It is simple to answer. He is a personal friend of Miss Miller and is making the trip in order to play a special engagement in the cast of "Miss Dolly Dimple." to be seen at the California theater November 14, under the auspices of the Elks for their Christmas charity fund and you will see one of the cleverest productions ever staged as well as helping the good cause, so be a good booster for it is to be some show.
