B. Markle when their friend Miss Lillian Clemmer became the bride of James Craig, of Brea. The brides' mother, Mrs. Dan Clemmer and a sister of the bridegroom, Mrs. Depwig were present. The Markle home was decorated with baskets of roses, sweet peas, carnations and ferns. The bride looked very pretty in a dress of white. Immediately following the ceremony Mr. and Mrs. Craig left for a short honeymoon and on their return will be in their home on South street. Miss Clemmer has been a resident of Anaheim for some years and during the past four years has been a student at the high school. She has made many friends both in business and social circles. Mr. Steward is not a man who says much but he does much: The work of pleasing some five thousand people in a metropolitan city is some last but happily Anaheim people are no chronic kickers Mr. Steward says. "I seldom get thanked in this manner" said Mr. Steward this morning but it does sound good when someone is thoughtful enough to call me and say they are pleased with my efforts to hold efficiency at its peak. Gratitude is a wonderful inspiration to the ordinary human being People who have complaints in Anaheim will always find Manager Steward ready to listen and do what he is empowered to do to eliminate cause for complaint.
