LADIES' AID ENJOY
GOOD MEETING
The Ladies' Aid of Grace Lutheran church was entertained Thursday afternoon by Mrs. Wm. Gelger. The time was profitably spent in sewing and discussing the great work of Dr. Anna Kugler among the Telugu people in India. For 37 years this devoted servant of Christ has given her time and energies among those people. Not only has she built up from nothing a great hospital and medical plant in Guntur, but she established many of the present Hindu girls' schools, started much of the Zenana work now being carried on in hundreds of homes and helped establish boarding schools for girls.
The Aid received Mrs. Baird as a new member. A committee of three was appointed to help beautify the church grounds by planting shrubs and flowers.

Mix up a batch of biscuits—or the finest kind of cake—it's all the same. There is never but one result—the sweetest and most palatable of foods.
There is not as much worry over baking costs either. Because Calumet costs less—when you buy it—the price is moderate.
