The motor car operating between Anaheim and Los Angeles by the Southern Pacific will not be discontinued after tonight, according to announcement made today by Agent S. F. Willard of Anaheim. Word was received from the division headquarters today announcing that San Francisco headquarters has ordered the service continued indefinitely.
Mr. Willard does not know whether the service is to be continued indefinitely or for a short time, but is inclined to believe that objection has been made to its discontinuance and that a hearing will be heard in the near future to determine whether or not it shall remain on regular schedule to and from Los Angeles.

SOCIETY JOURNEYS TO MODJESKA HOME
Benath the oaks made famous by Madame Helena Modjeska, members of the Orange County Historical society gathered Saturday to do honor to the memory of the great tragedy.
The pilgrimage to the spot in the Santiago canyon where Madame Modjeska's home das located was entered into by fifty or sixty members of the society and others who were invited.
Under the program announced by Dr. C. D. Baill, chairman, and S. M. Davis, secretary of the society, the day was given ovre largely to reminiscences concerning Madame Modjeska.
Two papers were prepared, one on "Madame Modjeska, Social Leader," by Miss Florence Yoch, and the other, "Madame Modejska's Life in America," by Mrs. J. E. Pleasants. Miss Yoch and Mrs. Pleasants were intimately acquainted with Madame Modjeska.
Dinner was served at the Modjeska Inn at 12 o'clock. The program was given immediately following the dinner.
The journey to Arden, the name given by Madame Modjeska to her mountain home, is the second outing of the historical society. The first occurred several months ago. At that time the society visited Richard Egan, pioneer at San Juan Capistrano.
