P. E. O. LADIES
HONORED WITH DINNER
Husbands of the P. E. O. ladies entertained with a delicious chicken dinner last night at the high school cafeteria. The table was artistically arranged with a yellow color scheme of the club carried out in delicate flowers. The dinner was prepared by the ladies of the Episcopal church, who received congratulations.
Mr. C. C. Smith, toastmaster of the evening, called on the men to give some evation whether humorous or otherwise to the ladies for their splendid work during the past year, and Mrs. J. S. Ward responded with a little talk on sincere thoughts of their co-workers. Mrs. Edmiston also spoke in appreciation of the talks given by the men. Much fun was enjoyed over the demi-tasse which was followed by the arrival of the company at the play of "Mice and Men" in the auditorium by the dramatics class of the school.
Place cards of dainty yellow designs were placed for Mr. and Mrs. J. S. Ward, Mr. and Mrs. F. T. Edmiston, Mr. and Mrs. C. C. Smith, Mr. and Mr. and Mrs. Charles Mann, Mr.

A dainty luncheon was served by the hostess, assisted by her mother, Mrs. Frank Gates to Misses Viola Elliott, Hazel Withee, Vera O'Rourke, Valle Pember, Sylvia May Dumas, Mesdames Stafford Simms, Ruth Ward, Harriet K. Boyd, Etta Lautenbach, C. Mauerhan and the honored guest, Miss Degryse.
