TEC SUN PRINCESS — One of the most gorgeous headdresses created for the 21st Annual Headdress Ball was designed by Wayne Andrade. Wayne's for Flowers of Anaheim, worn here by Mrs. William Tetsch, member of the Los Corristas Headdress Ball. Using the theme "Capita from Castile," Wayne designed an almost completely authentic replica of the headdresses worn by the sun princesses of the Aztec tribes, a design representing the sun and its rays. It is done in petals of ranunculus, carnations, stephanotis and pampas plumes in gold, tangerine and white. Mrs. Tetsch wore with it a sheath gown of white mat jersey with gold sequin accent and a cummerbund of tangerine satin appliqued with emerald green and amber cut beads.
