Practical Kitchen Aids Suggested for Mother Anything that will help lighten Mother’s chores is always a most appreciated gift. And, today’s small cookware appliances are designed with exactly this thought in mind! Beautiful as well as practical describes each of these modern work-savers. And they’re so versatile too! They move from kitchen to table with exquisite ease. Brilliant strokes of color spread across the small appliance scene. With hues to mate or contrast with every kitchen decor or any table setting. With the new single-unit heat control plug and cord now available to fit all appliances interchangeably. Each individual appliance costs you less. And speaking of cost...why not suggest the family pool their gift funds to give Mother several appliances with the one control plug. It’s a gift she’ll use and appreciate for many years to come. One appliance, that’s becoming more and more popular with women who really like to cook, is the blender. It would take a whole book to explain all the many wonders it performs — (and most come with a booklet filled with exciting ideas). Grill-wafflers are a double-hit item. They bake, toast, fry and grill...to perfection! Beauty Tips from Me to You by Lillian Ruskin How does your hair measure up to the four C’s: condition, cut, curl, and color? Condition—olly hair will improve with proper shampoo—and dandruff is a warning not to be ignored—dry hair can be given a boost with massage and pre-shampoo treatments. Cut—a good cut makes a difference in the way hair behaves—Curl—expert hairdressers adopt wavings skills to the hair in hand—Color—rinses, lighteners or more lasting colorings give hair a more vibrant look if properly administered so a trip to your favorite hairdresser will certainly give you a new look. Ignore its many colors as they look close up...examine the dress across the room then you get the total effect and how all the colors blend together.
