New Beauty for You!

New Summer Ideas.
Each season - change brings about its own identifiable fashion changes. The smart woman studies the entire picture, adapts her present wardrobe to fashion's newest degree as much as it flatteringly possible; then adds to that wardrobe with the same skill andunning.
This summer may be remembered for the return of the bikini swim suit. Though the American-based version somewhat resembles the two-piece bathing suit more than it does its European bikini cousin. Points to remember are: A beach coat supplement is a must, and it isn't too late to begin an exercise program if you aren't perfectly toned in the muscle department.
The sun-back dress is making a strong reappearance, but probably could not soon pre-empt the Capri crase. The fact is that these dresses can provide a welcome change for even a superb figure, and can be a special joy for lesser ones.
It's smart to wear a low, curvy heel this spring, particularly smart if the shop in question is an elegantly fitted pump. High in fashion favor, too, are the skinny ribbonings of bright leather that make up a whole new array of sandals sandals for this summer. These call for careful scrutiny of your own well - pedicured, pumice-stone smoothed, lotioned, and generally-well-cared-for feet.

Democratic Women Set Seminar
One hundred Democratic women leaders from all parts of California have registered for an intensive Legislative Seminar at Sacramento this week. Starting at noon on Tuesday, the women lunched with Mrs. Virginia Foran, state chairman of the Women's Division of the Democratic State Central Committee. Also Mrs. Edmund G. Brown hostessed a tea at the Governor's Mansion, Tuesday.
Key Democratic spokesmen at the Tuesday dinner meeting were: Hon. Hugh Burns, president Pro Tempore of the Senate; Hon. Ralph Brown, speaker of the Assembly, and Hon. William A. Munnell,
chairman of the State Central Committee and majority floor leader of the Assembly.
Keynoters at the today's breakfast session were California's only two women legislators, Hon. Dorothy Donahoe and Hon. Pauli Davis.
During the balance of todays afternoon daytime hours, the registered for the seminar will tend Assembly and Senate sessions and committee hearings.
Speakers at the tonight's dinner meeting are Lt. Gov. Glenn Anderson, Controller Alan Crabton and Hon. Richard Neverson of the Board of Equation.

Cinch your waist with a wide belt. Black patent is high on this list. Beneath all the visible cinchers is the new-again-this-year waist cincher. It may be built into a brassiere, or a girdle, or it may simply be a waist cincher standing on its own merit. The point is that the waist cincher is again a big point of fashion.
Another current trademark of fashion is the batwing sleeve. It must be flattering to you in some length, and the length varies from short to to-the-elbow length.
Color is always of greatest importance in our fashion scheme of things. This year the color, or lack of, if you want to be technical — is white. White dresses, white suits, and white coats, and oh, yes, white accessories with beige, and with black. Next in line of color importance are those two-beige and black. True, color can be smart, particularly if it's yellow, green-green, or claret.
