LETTERS FOR 53-MINUTE MARCH — In preparing for May 19 53-minute march for the United Cerebral Palsy fund raising campaign, above photo (from left) presents Mrs. Jerry Marks, whose husband is a member of the United Cerebral Palsy Association of Orange County; Mrs. Arnold Green, member of the Fullerton Mothers’ Club of the Cerebral Palsy Child Development Center, and Mrs. Thurman Smith, whose husband is the artist for the UCP. They are checking material for the kits and letters that will go to residents, telling them the story of the Association program and campaign. Mayor Dale Heinly of Santa Ana, campaign chairman, states that there are more than 800 cerebral palsy children in Orange County and that at present facilities are serving only 250. “Child care and child development centers, workshops for adolescents, a case-worker to assist families in the multiple problems that confront parents of a handicapped child, all these are needed desperately,” said Heinly. “We know they cannot be supplied without money, hence the campaign. This will be conducted from door to door with the Association’s goal set at $40,000 for the year.”

Writer Gives 15 Potent Facts on 'What Is Worship'
In the Goodwill news letter was an article by Dwight J. Bradley. D. D. in which he gives the ingredients of "What is worship."
It reads—"It is the soul searching for its counterpart: it is a thirsty land crying out for rain; it is a candle in the act of kindle.
"It is a drop in quest of the ocean; it is a man listening through a tornado for the 'Still Small Voice'; it is a voice in the night calling for help; it is a sheep lost in the wilderness pleading for rescue by the Good Shepherd; it is the same sheep nestling in the arms of its rescuer:
"It is the prodigal son running to his father; it is a soul standing in awe before the mystery of the universe; it is a poet enthralled by the beauty of sunrise.
"It is a workman pausing a moment to listen to the strain of music; it is a hungry heart seeking for love."
