FJC Students Receive Honors Two Fullerton Junior College students, Marlys Stewart of Anaheim and Richard Baker of Fullerton, were among 60 southern California Junior College Business Award winners honored at a banquet at the Beverly Hilton Hotel. Awards, certificates of commendation, and $100 in cash went to Miss Stewart for being the top FJC student in the secretarial and clerical division and to Baker for being the top banking and business administration student. The featured address for the banquet was given by Dr. Frederic P. Woelner, professor of education, UCLA, retired, on the topic "Who are being educated?" A former Fullerton JC student, Mrs. Marlene Hesser Sorsabal, was additionally singled out for recognition, being among 22 former award winners formally recognized for "singular achievement" following graduation.
