GOTTA EAT — One of the more important factors in any picnic is food and the Anaheimhosted District Eight Junior Chamber of Commerce get-together at City Park was no different.
A large turnout of Orange County JayCees was
on hand for a breakfast of pancakes, sausages,
coffee and milk. So successful was the affair that
many came back for "seconds" which proved

IT'S THE BERRIES — Young Walt Davidson, winner of the Pie-eating Contest at the Anaheim Junior Chamber of commerce - hosted District Eight picnic, smiles in victory. Walt, of Costa Mesa, said that he thought the contest was "Tine." although he does appear a bit worse for wear following the contest. In order to win he had to eat a boysenberry pie and follow this with one made of berries and meringue which made for a pretty sticky business. He is seen here with the marks of his triumph. Still hard at work are two more pie snailers. (Bulletin Photo)
