The Shoe Circus opened today for a four-day grand opening featuring prizes, lights, entertainment, gifts and treats for the kiddies. The store is located at 6185 Manchester Blvd., in Buena Park. Shoe Circus Opens in Buena Park The Shoe Circus, the West Coast's largest exclusive shoe store opened its doors today for a gala four-day grand opening featuring lights, entertainment stars, free gifts and entertainment for the entire family. Owned by B. L. Bayzerman, the huge new store is located at 6185 Manchester Blvd., on the south side of the street just west of Western avenue, in Buena Park. An extensive stock of all nationally advertised shoes at savings from $2 to $10 are carried by the store and if a customer is not satisfied with a purchase his money will be cheerfully refunded, it was stated. Ample free parking for 400 cars is provided. Victor H. Taylor, manager, said the normal store hours will be 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Mondays and Fridays and 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. all other days except Sunday when the store will be open 9:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. During the grand opening, however the store will remain open until 9 p.m. every day. Some lucky visitor to the store during the grand opening will win a 21-inch television set. To enter, just register. No purchase is necessary, Taylor said. Also to be given away for the asking, are free tickets to the Long Beach Drive-In Theater for the entire family for the evening of Aug. 2. Festivities get underway on Thursday evening at 7 o'clock when a cast of 60 or more from the King Dance Studios present an entertaining program. Billed for Friday evening's entertainment is the Herald Express finalists in amateur entertainment, while on Saturday night the Southwestern champions of Meglin Studios will entertain. Also, the same night will be featured the "Buena Park Follies of 1955," featuring top-flight entertainers. Square dancing Sunday evening concludes the grand opening activities.
