Fullerton Topples Anaheim Midgets Limited to only three hits by Fullerton, the Anaheim Midget team was defeated 7-3 yesterday on the Fullerton diamond. Anaheim bunched two of their three hits along with an error, to score twice in the first inning. Glenn Herbel was safe on an error; Don Grothe doubled and Bob Fowler singled, and Anaheim led 2-0. They increased their lead to three runs in the fourth with a perfectly executed squeeze play. Then Grothe, who had held Fullerton to only one hit and no runs, tired. He gave up two runs. His relievers could do no better and there went the ball game. Grothe had two doubles for Anaheim.
