Betrothal of the young couple was told members of the families on the Fourth of July when the Osborns entertained at a barbecue party in their backyard. Spring 1956 was the tentative wedding time indicated by the young couple. Miss Osborn graduated from Anaheim Union High school and Fullerton Junior college and was affiliated with Theta Nu Theta. She is now employed with the Savings and Loan Association of Anaheim. Her bridegroom-elect, a graduate of Santa Ana High school, is now attending FJC. He is a past master counselor of the Santa Ana chapter of the DeMolay. Party Guests Guests at the family gathering were: Mr. and Mrs. Ray E. Walworth of Orange; Mr. and Mrs. Richard R. Mr. and Mrs. Leonard Albin of 1193 Arbor are the parents of a son born July 6 at the Santa Ana Community hospital. Russ Fitzpatrick and family from Phoenix, Ariz. are guests of Mrs. Bessie Fitzpatrick of 520 East Broadway. The family will be here about one month making their headquarters at Fitzpatrick's mother's home. Murray of North Janss Street on a recent date. Reception was held at the Sutton home. Uncle of the bride, Roland Seaman gave her in marriage, with Mrs. Margaret Peters the nuptial soloist. Songs were "Because," "I Love You Truly," and "The Lord's Prayer." Mrs. Fern Weaver was the organist. The new Mrs. Murray wore a Chantilly lace and satin fashioned with full lace sleeve to the bodice. The satin skirt ended in a short train. Her veil was fin- ger-tip, held with a tiny polo accented by a spray cluster of stephanotis. She carried gownias and lilies of the valley with a corsage of pink rose bush in her bouquet. Miss Maxine Pittser of Anaheim was her maid-of-honor and Miss Donna Nelson served her bridesmaid. Colors of the gowns in ivory lily and tauquoise. White gardenias ranged with carnations we carried by Miss Pittser with Ms. Nelson's bouquet arranged from pink flowers. Gary Ratzlaff was the best man with Alan Hinmen and Anaheim as usheres. For her daughter's wedding Mrs. Sutton wore a blue suit with pink accessories with Mr. Murray choosing gray white accessories for the shawl of her dress. At the wedding reception the Sutton home, friends of the bride's family were assisting hostesses. Among the guests signing the bride's book were Mr. and Mrs. R. Seamon from Springville, Calif.; Mrs. A. Sutton from Texas. The bride is an alumna Anaheim High school, 1955 class. Her husband is a graduate AUHS class 1954 and is employed a Klikse Locks. The cross, held by a delicate gold chain, set off her beautiful wedding dress of Onantily lace and nylon tulle. Waltz length, with the very run skirt having a wide panel of tiered tulle ruffled at the front, the bridal gown was worn over satin, the softly fitted bodice, having cross folds of the tulle at the V-neckline. A small lace jacket with tiny Peter Pan collar, completed the bridal ensemble with the short veil held to the bride's hair with a pleated tulle and simulated pearl orange blossom head-piece. The pink and white roses in her bouquet were a lovely contrast to her dress. The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Chet Peterson of Casa Grande, Ariz., formerly of Anaheim. Both she and her husband attended Corona High school with the bride later attending from Casa Grande and then completing her assistant training at F. Junior college. Her bridegroom, a graduate of Eastern schools, is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Abiathar Miller of Torrance. For her wedding Miss Lewis chose a dark blue suit of silk accented with white accessories. CASTING NEARLY COMPLETED With casting nearly completed for "Bouchard Returns," annual Pirate musical pageant at the Orange County Fair, there still is opportunity for choral participation, according to Gordon R. (Conway Photo) SLATED AUG. 8 Set Gala Preview SLATED AUG. 8 Set Gala Preview At Fair Plans are under way for a gala preview of the 1955 Orange County Fair Flower Show and musical revue, to be sponsored by Soroptimist International of Santa Ana at 8 p.m. Aug. 8, in advance of the official Fair opening on Aug. 9, it was announced today by Frank V. Crane, president of the Fair board. Proceeds from the invitational presentation will be turned over to the educational scholarship and service projects of the Soroptimist group, which promotes the welfare of girls and women as its principal purpose. More than 50 commercial exhibitors and scores of home gardeners and garden clubs are preparing for the show. First judging of the floriculture department will precede the preview in order that first-nighters may see the ratings of the elaborate exhibits. In addition to the Flower Show preview, visitors will be entertained with the premiere performance of the 1955 production of "Bouchard Returns," an all-new musical show based on traditional pirate legends.
