PLENTY OF FREE PARKING IN DOWN Tuesday, June 29, 1854 ANAHEIM (Cal.) BULLETIN Youngsters Admit Theft, Vandalism, Arson at School ORANGE, (OCNS)—Two elementary school students, 8 and 9 years old, who admitted to theft, vandalism and arson at Kellefer school were not arrested because of their "tender ages," Orange police reported today. Fire hief George Horton, who investigated the arson, commented, "The only thing you can do when the culprits are so young is to put pressure on the parents." The boys made two entries into the building Thursday. One of them, with another lad 4 and ½ years old, broke into the building through a transom and opened a door for a third boy. Police said the 4 and ½ year old was not asked to account for his entry because of his extreme youth. The juveniles admitted rassacking four school rooms, igniting eight panels of curtains in a teacher's room and then extinguishing the fire with pans of water, and scattering books, papers, rubber bands and kitchen supplies over the room, then slashing books with a paper cutter. They took 20 cents, a watch used by the teacher in timing tests, and other small "bric a brac" which investigating officers said were covered. Results Are the Proof of News-aper Circulation.
