Mr. and Mrs. Otto Trapp of 15 Santa Ana St. are sending out those little announcements telling the news of the birth of their third son, Dennis Roy, at St. Joseph hospital, June 11. He is the brother of Johnny and Bobby Trapp, and the grandson of Mrs. Katherine Justus and Frank Trapp, both of Anaheim. Fifty fourth wedding anniversary dinner party was celebrated at Dorothy at Wade's restaurant recently by Mr. and Mrs. W. Coleman of Fullerton with a few friends from that city and Visitation as their guests. The birthday of Mrs. Ann Johnton was honored at a dinner party at Dorothy and Wade's when Mr. Donnie Hoskins entertained guest 'Cum-As-U-R' Party Accents 20-30 Ann Pot Luck Meet Patio at this home of Mrs. Paul Bruce was the setting for a puck dinner meeting of the 20-30 Anns on a recent evening with the affair also a "cum-as-u-r" party. Wicker were invited to a party at her home, 6062 Lincoln Ave., they were informed to bring their Colonist annuals for an end-of-the-year get-together. They soon found that it was a ruse for Judy Belle announced her betrothal to Don Brummet, son of Mr. and Mrs. F. H. Bruce of Have-lock, N. C. Traditional to such affairs, the news was revealed with the names of the young couple centering two pink net hearts, the buffet table decoration. No date was told for the wedding. The romance of the young couple began when they became members of the Methodist White Temple MYF and their work in the Footlighters, a church dramatic organization which has gained fame for its tours presenting sacred plays. Pink and green were the color-tones for the lovely evening party with the guests including Myrna Llewellyn, Drusetta Martin, Luella Stephenson, Dorothy Barryman, Barbara Galloway, Barbara Simenton, Carolyn Lenz, Shelly Smith, Mrs. Don Reed, sister of the bride-groom - elect; Mrs. Frank Butterworth, Mrs. Eleanor Gilbreath. Unable to attend were Betty Osborn and Mrs. Dick Gray. Judy Belle was assisted in hostess duties by her mother. She is a graduate of Anaheim High school and is a sophomore at Redlands University where she is studying choral directing along with other major curriculum, she is a member of the University choir. Brummet, also a graduate of An-aheim High school, received his BA degree at Redlands and has enrolled at University of Southern California School of Religion. He is manager of youth at the Corona Methodist church. Named as vice president was Mary Ellen Stine with Romona Peter, recording secretary; Ione Lambert, treasurer; Jean Cushing, historian; Elsje Price, Eleanor Quiggle and Dorothy Morrison, directors. Mrs. Agnes Criss, director of Criss Business College, and Counselor of the Alumni Association served as installing mistress. She used the brilliant and pastel tones in carnations, fashioned into wrist-lets, as the theme of the ceremony. Special honors during the evening went to Jeanette McDonald retiring president. The alumnus group presented their president on this past year with a beautiful G.E. waffle and grill iron. Miss M. Donald will wed Cliff Neel of Pleasantia sometime this fall. A short musical program was enjoyed. Jean Lande, accompanied by her cousin, Ardith Dawson, sang three special selections. This was the third installation a fair for the organization. Miss Jennie Horton, just returned from three year teaching at Isabella Hendrix Colegio in Brazil, will be the speaker. She was one of the M.Y.F. Students at Redlands University Church. Mrs. Wilbert Bonney Initiated Into Drake Mortar Board Mrs. Wilbert Bonney, 1908 Sycamore Anaheim, was one of 46 women initiated into Mortar Board, national leadership sorority, during Drake University's 73 Commencement weekend in Des Moines, Iowa. The initiate — alumnae from seven states now total 125 Drake women who have affiliated with Mortar Board since the chapter was established in February. Mrs. Bonney is a member of the class of 1917. Bates Named to Head County Personnel Group Stan Bates, Personnel Manager, Cherry Rivet Co., Santa Ana, this week was elected President of the Orange County Personnel Association. The association is composed of personnel and industrial relations personnel of Orange county industry, civic, and government units. Program chairman is Bill Aldrich, Manager of Industrial Relations at Northrop-Anaheim. Guy Tester, Personnel Manager for Knott's Berry Farm is treasurer. Bill Grey, Employment Manager of Kwikset Locks is Publicity Chairman. The group will assume their new offices when the association begins its fall meetings after a summer recess. This includes such items as rentals, clothing, food, and other small and large costs. The 14 years the league has been in existence was briefly reviewed with the philanthropies program one of the most outstanding in the county. It was also reported that 1941-46 county league philanthropies went well over $80,000. Mrs.leo J.Fris,historian for the past year gave a historical summary of the league's operation in Anaheim. Birthday Surprise Given by Triple F For Mrs.Schutz Members of Triple "F" gathered outside the residence of H.H.Eckman, 8201 South Moro Lane on a recent evening tossing Happy Birthday to Mrs.Eizabeth Schutz as they entered the home. They later set up tables in the back yard and carried the surprise further with a complete dinner including a birthday cake and gift for the honoree.
