COMMUNISTS JAILED—After being sentenced to prison, these five Communists, convicted of conspiring to advocate overthrow the U.S. Government by force, are jailed at St. Louis. Left to right: Robert Manewitz, Mrs. Dorothy Forest, William Sentner, James Forest and Marcus Murphy. The men were sentenced to five years. Mrs. Forest, wife of James, was given three years.
