Eric Brown's "office" is every place in town—Eric Brown is the telephone manager of Olympia, Washington. You see him here, on the left, in the plant of the Georgia-Pacific Plywood Company. With him is Lieut. General Lewis A. Pick, U.S.A. (Ret.), Georgia-Pacific's vice-chairman. Eric Brown's face is familiar on almost any street in Washington's capital city. For keeping up with what's going on in Olympia is a big part of Eric's job. It's up to him to know the telephone needs of Olympians today—and what they'll likely be tomorrow. That's why Eric Brown gets around. And that's why the Pacific Telephone manager in your community is probably one of the best-known men in town. For his job is to help make certain that you have the kind of telephone service you want, when and where you want it.
