(Bradley photo) Exchangette Charter Installation Dinner Held Charter night for the new Anaheim Exchangette club at the Cirque restaurant presented the newly-elect officers with Mrs. Wyn Friday taking over the first leadership duties of this neophyte organization. Twenty members of the Anaheim Exchange club and their wives gathered for this event with George Carter, president of the Exchange group extending a welcome to the Exchangettes and other special guests. Recently formed, the Exchangettes were in the spotlight throughout the dinner meeting with Fred Klein, a charter member of Exchange and first vice presenting the gavel to this new leader. Exchangette pin from her husband as she accepted her duties. Mrs. Friday's first official act, following her acceptance, was to present an Exchangette pin to Mrs. John Mitchell. Mr. and Mrs. Mitchell made their debut at this dinner meeting after a bout with pollo during this past year. "Floating a bond issue" for the Exchangettes, Odra Chandler collected a sizable sum which was presented with great dignity to the charter treasurer, Mrs. Jahr. Travel, Program Feature Program feature was travel by colored film into Africa presented by Harry Jackson of the World Travel Bureau, Santa Ana, who was augmented by the gorgeous table centerpiece in honor of the Exchangettes. It was presented by President Carter and Wyn Prida past president of the Exchange club Dancing concluded the dinner party meeting. Bradley, Mr. and Mrs. Rbert Benno, Mr. and Mrs. D Bates, Mr. and Mrs. Bill Bellmo, Mr. and Mrs. Spurgeon Sparks, M and Mrs. Oda Chandler, Mr. a Hostess Duo Gives Bridal Shower for Hildegarde Schmidt Miss Hildegarde Schmidt, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Mathew Schmidt of North Zeyn St., and bride-elect of Calvin Queyrel, son of Mr. and Mrs. Joachim Queyrel of South Gilbert Road, was the honoree when Mrs. Harry Fox and Mrs. Adolph Baudisch entertained in the Fox home at 801 Jadeway. Miss Joan Stabbert, Jeanette Here and There Mrs. Juanita Lovret, journalism instructor at Garden Grove High School and a former student of journalism at Santa Ana College, has accepted a journalism-English assignment at Tustin Union High School next school year. Mrs. Lovret was the former Juanita Robinson while attending Tustin and graduated in 1944. After studying at Santa Ana College, she transferred to the School of Journalism at the University of Southern California. She has been teaching at Garden Grove the last two years. Dottie Schumacher is now with Palm Beauty Shop, 903 S. Palm KE 5-6374. A daughter was born to Mr. and Mrs. Charles Lamor of 843 South Claudina St. at the Santa Ana Community hospital, May 23. Little Miss Suzanne Elizabeth Koss, Phyllis Boettcher, Dallas Bowen, June Carol Jungkeit, Martha Leypoldt, Ruth Balzer, Ruth Jacobi, Edith Rosol, Esther Henning and Esther Leuschner. DuBois was born to Mr. and Mrs. Jack DuBois of East Sycamore St. at St. Joseph hospital yesterday morning. Little Susanne had a brother, Danny, at home. She the grand daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Henry DuBois of Anaheim and Dr. and Mrs. John B. Menge of Fullerton. ANAMEIM, CAL CONVENIENT CREDIT Women carrie lou sutherland - editor Open House and Friday Night Programs At Marywood Draw Huge Attendance Open house at Marywood High school, Sunday, drew throngs of people with the day also featuring afternoon and evening play performances by freshman members of the drama class. This was the second dramatic presentation by drama students with recognition given those received into the First Nighters Drama club. Students in the three upper classes performed Friday night. The Sunday program was traditional with Jill Formolo extending greetings at the 2:30 program. The Marian Year-Verse Chorus was heard in a dedication song to "Our Lady, Mary." The entire program centered on women in the Christian world from 300 A.D., the play, "Constan-tia" depicting this era. Participating were Barbara May, Patricia Case, Rita Knobbe, Colleen Carroll, Francie Murray, Rita Flynn and Karen Mandeville. Scenes from the play, "Ladies of the White House" was enacted by Valerie Beggs, Beatrice White, Mary Cain, Jeanne Love, Susan Hazard, Darlene Zinda, Kay Gillispie, Sally Reese, Jill Formolo, Judy Reese, Diane Hernandez, Lois Schweitzer. The scenes were directed by Gwen Holly Simpson, head of dramatics at Marywood, with identical performance presented at 8 o'clock. Friday Night Program Friday night the sophomore, junior and senior students presented a program with scenes from interesting plays presented.
