The survey as compiled by Walker, showed that a total of 453 patients might be admitted per month to the local hospital. This number was gained from physicians replying to the query. Although not all doctors replied, it was presumed in the figures, that all replys were minimum estimates. In each case minimum figures for stay in the hospital were also used. Breakdown by cities revealed that Anaheim physicians would send a possible 213 patients; Buena Park, 14 patients; Brea, seven patients; Cypress, seven patients; Pullerton, 104 patients; Garden Grove, 56 patients; La Habra, 15 patients; Placentia, eight patients; Santa Ana, 26 patients; and Westminster, three patients. This adds up to a total of 2265 hospital days per month. Local physicians acting in an advisory capacity to the Mother Colony Association, estimate that an 80 percent capacity at any one time, is nearly the maximum load a hospital may carry and still adequately handle emergency cases. This, according to the survey, would bring the case-load to within 27 patients per month, a figure deemed easily met through growth of the region. The organization has received full tax clearance from state and national authorities and is incorporated under the laws of California. Although fund-raising plans have not been announced, contributions have been received from several civic organizations. Directors of the association in addition to President Schultz, include Louis Hoskins, Martha Schumacher, Hazel Loudon, Fred Krein and A. J. Schutte. Anaheim Boys Nabbed For Theft of Car Parts ORANGE, (OCNS) — Two Anaheim boys are in Juvenile home today after confessing to the theft of hub caps and fender skirts in Orange last night. Orange police officers arrested the juveniles, 16 and 17 years of age, upon discovery of the caps and fender skirts after they stopped the boys' car for a routine check at Cypress street and Chapman Ave. The youths, and two girls, 15 and 19, who were passengers in the car, were taken to the police station where they admitted taking caps and skirts from cars in the 200 block on North Glassell St. and the 100 block on West Maple Avenue. They also admitted taking hub caps from cars in Anaheim, one boy claiming he stole them "three or four times and the other juvenile admitting he took caps in Anaheim "twice in the past, not long ago." The girls were released and the boys were booked at the Juvenile Home on charges of petty theft.
