Fullerton Man Knifed In Anaheim Home Police of Anaheim and Fullerton were seeking today to unravel the mystery of an early morning knifing yesterday in which a Fullerton man received race wounds while at his estranged wife's home in Anaheim. KE 5-5714 Fullerton received knife wounds in the face which required 12 stitches to close, remains unsolved today though police are seeking a man whose nickname is said to be "Avaco" who's said to have been present when Navarrete was knifed about 4:30 a.m. On a follow-up tip from Fullerton Police, Anaheim officers went to the home of Carmen A. Navarrette, 808 Pauline St., and found blood spots on the sidewalk and street. Navarrete had gone home after the attack and was taken to Orange County General hospital for treatment. Office staff learned from Mrs. Navarrete that she had met her estranged husband in Placentia at 2:30 a.m. yesterday at which time he had accompanied her home. The anxious father called the An.aheim police department at 3:05 a.m. from the Moon Cafe. Lincoln and Grand avenues, West Anaheim and requested that an ambulance be sent immediately.
